1.1 This policy explains how Rebate Driver (ABN 71 264 430 929) ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information.
1.2 It covers our websites rebatedriver.com.au and rebatedriver.com, and our products Kitchen Elevation Pro (kitchenelevationpro.com), Bathroom Elevation Pro (bathroomelevationpro.com) and Golf Sim Elevation Pro (golfsimelevationpro.com) — each a "Product".
1.3 We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1.4 This policy forms part of our Terms of Service at kitchen_elevation_terms.html.
We collect very little.
The rest of this policy sets out the detail.
Contact form. If you contact us through a Product's contact form, we receive the name, email address, enquiry category and message you submit.
Account information. If you create an account, we receive your name and email address, and authentication identifiers created by our accounts provider. If you sign in using a third-party account (for example Google), we receive the basic profile information that provider releases.
Subscription information. If you subscribe, our payment provider gives us a customer reference, your subscription status, and the last four digits and brand of your card. We never receive or store your full card number.
Drawings. Elevations, plans, saved sets and templates you create, including project addresses, drawing names, notes and any logo you upload.
Browser storage. Our Products store working data in your browser to protect against a crashed tab or accidental refresh, and to remember display preferences. This stays on your device. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings — doing so will delete any unsaved work.
Server logs. Our hosting and content delivery providers record ordinary technical information when a page is requested — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used for security, diagnosing faults and preventing abuse.
We do not use cookies, analytics services, tracking pixels or advertising networks on any of our Products.
We use personal information to:
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

5.1 We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the Products, and only as far as they need it:
| Provider | Purpose | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Render | Website and application hosting | Server log data; **** stored drawings and account records |
| Cloudflare | Content delivery and security | Technical request data |
| Web3Forms | Delivering contact form submissions | What you type into the contact form |
| Clerk ** | Accounts and authentication | Name, email address, authentication data |
| Stripe ** | Payment processing | Payment and billing details, which Stripe collects directly |
5.2 We may also disclose personal information where required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights or safety of any person.
5.3 If our business is sold or transferred, personal information may transfer with it. We will notify account holders before that happens.
5.4 We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it to advertisers or data brokers.
6.1 You own your drawings. Our Terms of Service confirm this.
6.2 We will not publish your drawings, use them to promote our Products, or disclose them to anyone else, except as required by law or as necessary to provide the Products to you.
6.3 We do not use your drawings to train machine learning models.
6.4 Your drawings may contain other people's information — a client's name, a site address, project details. You collected that information, and you remain responsible for handling it lawfully. We hold it only to provide the Products to you.
7.1 Our service providers are located outside Australia, including in the United States [and other countries — TO CONFIRM per provider]. When you use the Products, your information may be stored or processed overseas.
7.2 We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, including by using established providers with published privacy commitments.
7.3 By using the Products you acknowledge that your information may be handled outside Australia, and that overseas recipients may be subject to different privacy laws.
8.1 We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across all Products, and relying on established providers for authentication and payments so we hold as little sensitive data as possible.
8.2 We never receive or store full payment card details. Those are handled by Stripe.
8.3 No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
9.1 **** We keep your account information and drawings for as long as your account exists — whether you are on a free or paid plan.
9.2 **** You can delete individual drawings, or your whole account, at any time. Deleting your account deletes your drawings. This cannot be undone. Backup copies may persist for a short period before being overwritten.
9.3 Contact form enquiries are kept while needed to deal with the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards.
9.4 We keep records we are legally required to keep — for example transaction records for tax purposes — for as long as the law requires, even after an account is deleted.
9.5 Browser-stored working data is on your device, under your control, and is not kept by us.
10.1 You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Contact us at info@rebatedriver.com.
10.2 We will respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days. We do not charge for access requests, though we may charge a reasonable fee if a request requires substantial work.
10.3 We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10.4 If we refuse a request we will tell you why in writing, and how to complain.
11.1 If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at info@rebatedriver.com. We will acknowledge within [5] business days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
11.2 If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner — oaic.gov.au, or 1300 363 992.
12.1 Our Products are intended for use in Australia, but are accessible elsewhere. If you use them from outside Australia, your information will be handled as described in this policy and may be transferred to Australia and to the countries listed in clause 7.
13.1 Our Products are for business use and are not directed at children. You must be at least 18 to hold an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
14.1 We may update this policy. The current version is always published at kitchen_elevation_privacy.html with the date it took effect.
14.2 If we make a change that materially affects how we handle your personal information, we will give account holders at least 30 days' notice by email before it takes effect.
14.3 Continuing to use the Products after a change takes effect means you accept it.
